- Health and women’s sexual problems: We have presented different press releases on Women’s sexual dysfunctions and sexual issues.

- European Sexual Health Day: European collaboration for sexual dysfunctions has assigned five years ago the 14th of February as the European Sexual Health Day. Even if someone is facing a sexual problem he has the right to love and sex…on sex day!

- A health issue, on a movie special! The centre for sexual and reproductive health and Thessaloniki Film Festival aim to inform the public on issues regarding sex, affairs, sexual health and behaviour, organising annually special film festivals since 2000.

- Clinical seminars of KESAY: Usually, physicians hesitate to ask their patients about their sexual function, because they are not acquainted with the certain field. Additionally, therapeutic choices for erectile dysfunction have multiplied, making this choice a difficult decision. Therefore, KESAY organises clinical seminars in which more than 600 Greek physicians have already participated.

- Yoram Vardi, professor of Urology in Rambam Medical Center, Haifa, in IMOP: Professor Vardi, well known for his work on the field of urology, but also a pioneer in sexual medicine research, was visiting KESAY in Thessaloniki on 28.02.2006.

- Mrs Kyprianou visited IMOP: After the visit of professor Vardi in spring, Mrs Kyprianou, especially interested in prostate cancer research and molecular cancer therapy, visited IMOP last September.

- Opening of our new web page: The minister of Macedonia and Thrace Mr. Nikos Tsiartsionis, launched on Thursday 9th of February the official web site of the Research Institute on Prostate Diseases (IMOP).

- For the 6th year…Sexual health on the movies: This event is a unique chance to present through a film festival such a sensitive and still remaining a ‘taboo’ issue; sex and its problems.

- News comes this year from Vienna! Research on sexuality brings one more award for Greece and KESAY from the annual meeting of the European Society for Sexual Medicine. A clinical research presents a different dimension for female sexual dysfunctions!

- INTERNET may be good for our sexual health! 2006 left us more informed regarding sexual health! This year, our official web site for sexual health issues celebrates its first birthday on Sexual Health Day (February 14th)
