a)Design and implementation of research studies on disorders of the uro- genital system and specifically:
Epidemiological studies
Clinical trials
Basic research

ISUD’s research activities promote evidence- based knowledge in order to respond to people’s and patients’ needs.

b)Activities for awareness, information and counseling support of citizens and patients, in order for them to comprehend risk factors for the different diseases, procedures of diagnosis and therapy, protective health behaviors, and most importantly, for those who are patients, to enhance their quality of life.

Cooperation with patient associations or groups

c)Education of university students and health professionals in order for them to be able to identify such health problems, inform patients and provide high quality therapeutic care.
