She is a graduate of the Mathematics Department of the Exact Sciences School of AUTh. She continued with her postgraduate studies in 1992, receiving her MSc in Operational Research from the Management School, Lancaster University. In 1993 she won the Manchester Metropolitan University scholarship in order for her to complete her PhD in Retail Marketing. From 1994 until 1997 she worked as a Research Associate at Leicester University Management Centre, while at the same time she was a visiting Assistant Professor with the Economic Sciences Department of AUTh. She is a member of the Administrative Board of the Institute of Communication and the Greek Marketing Academy. Her research activity mainly focuses on issues concerning branding, advertising and consumer behaviour.
