He is a graduate of the School of Medicine of the University of Crete. He began his Residency Training in the “Venizelio-Pananio” General Hospital of Heraklion and he completed his specialization at the Urology Clinic of the University Hospital of Heraklion. He obtained the title of Specialization in Urology in 2007 and, in the same year, through examinations, he received the FEBU title (Fellow of the European Board of Urology). He worked for 1 year as an Assistant Registrar at the Department of Urology of the "Venizelio-Pananio” General Hospital of Heraklion. He is a member of the Greek Urological Association, the European Association of Urology and the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM). In 2009 he submitted interest and received a scholarship from the Centre for Sexual and Reproductive Health (KESAY) of the Institute for the Study of Urological Diseases (ISUD) and since June 2009 he has been working as a Fellow at the 2nd Urology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Andrology.
