Staging of penile cancer

T (primary tumor)

Tx Unstaged primary tumor
T0 There is no evidence of primary tumor
Tis Carcinoma in situ
Ta Non-invasive verrucous carcinoma
T1 The tumor invades the subepithelial connective tissue.
T2 The tumor invades the corpus spongiosum or cavernosum.
T3 The tumor invades the urethra or the prostate gland.
T4 The tumor invades other adjacent tissues.

Ν (locoregional lymph-nodes)

Nx Lymph nodes can not be assessed.
N0 There is no metastases to the lymph-nodes.
N1 Invasion of a single superficial inguinal lymph node
N2 Invasion of multiple or bilateral superficial inguinal lymph nodes
N3 Invasion of the deep inguinal and/or pelvic lymph-nodes
